Professional Audio & Technology
Jim Bilitski worked with Clair Global from 2011 through 2018 as an R&D software consultant, working at the intersection of software, engineering, professional audio systems, and live production.
With degrees in engineering and computer science, Jim takes a methodical approach to technical problems: understand the system, isolate the problem, test assumptions, and determine the right solution.
The answer is not always new equipment. Sometimes a system needs to be repaired or replaced. Other times the problem is configuration, system design, acoustics, wireless interference, software, or simply a system that has become harder to operate than it needs to be.
Live Production & Theatre
Jim also has extensive hands-on experience with live performance, musical theatre, musicians, schools, and production environments.
That combination of technical and practical experience is important. Equipment has to do more than look good on a specification sheet—it has to work during the show and be usable by the people who depend on it.
A Focus on Successful Projects
Flood City Media is a small business focused on completing projects and making sure the customer is successful with the result.
The goal is not to install equipment, hand over a manual, and disappear.
That may mean troubleshooting an existing system, training the people who use it, returning to solve an unexpected problem, or helping an organization through a larger project from requirements through final acceptance.
Jim especially enjoys working with schools, churches, nonprofits, theatres, community organizations, musicians, venues, and businesses throughout the Johnstown area and surrounding region.

Auditorium System Assessment
Evaluated an existing auditorium sound system experiencing wireless microphone problems, feedback, inconsistent coverage, and other performance concerns.
The work included system troubleshooting, evaluation of speaker and wireless performance, review of system configuration, mixer adjustments, identification of problem areas, and recommendations for improvement.
Theatre & Live Production
Support for musicals, plays, concerts, and live events including front-of-house mixing, wireless microphones, playback, troubleshooting, and technical production support.
Technical Assessments & Recommendations
